Mid 1990s:

I was staying at the Beverly Hilton with my brother (my flight attendant mother got us a discount!) when we bumped into a paparazzi who told us there was a big celebrity event going on. He said Tom Cruise was going to arrive soon, and asked us if we wanted to meet him. We obviously agreed and Cruise arrived a few minutes later with then-wife Nicole Kidman. The photographer introduced us, and Cruise proceeded to spend 10 minutes talking with us. He was the nicest guy you’d ever want to meet. He was intelligent and inquisitive, just really down to earth. Kidman was absolutely stunning. It was one of the best moments of my life.
